Career Workshops

Career Workshops is a graduate level (university) professional development curriculum that outlines basic career development concepts, the hiring process, resume / cover letter preparation and the job search process.

• Círculo's Career Development Workshop prepares you for the challenges of finding and holding a job-while emphasizing goal centered career development. We prepare you for short and long term success by focusing on developing essential job search skills in the context ofthe employer's decision making-or hiring process.

• From resume construction and interviewing preparation, to conducting a job search, this workshop will cover everything you need to get started and/ or to improve on an already established work history. Professional job search, career counseling and job coaching services are available upon workshop completion.

• 24 hour workshop consists of 8 sessions that take place Tuesdays and Wendsdays (3 hour sessions). Workshop begins the second Tuesday of every month. (3 hour sessions). Afternoon and evening sessions available (2-5pm or 6-9pm).

• Workshops are a certificate course and begin the second Tuesday of every month. For specific Schedules., please call Career Services at (516)-292-2433.

• Participants have access to a career center with computers, phone and fax after second week of particpation. Counseling, job coaching and job search services available upon course completion. Note that this is a 21 Hour Career Development Certificate seminar.
